You are aabsolutely right. I have teased with girlfriends through the years that we could probably move into one another's homes and do our very same thing. So much is universal.

DO you have prayer concerns for your children at this stage fo the game...if I may ask?

Dotsie, my girls are a couple of years past college graduations and not living at home anymore, but your post sure brought the not-too-distant memories back full-force -- celebrating graduations, helping them move, a full house when they are home for visits, etc. And the things you requested for prayer -- some of the very things I would want prayers for too. Some things are just so common, aren't they?

Dotsie,

I can't personally relate as I am single with no children. However, several of my friends are going through similar situations. They are excited and are trying to cherish each moment that remains before their adult or recently graduated children strike out on their own.

I say...take lots of photos and videos during this next month.

Suz, you speak with such fondness towards your family. I just love it.

You were wise to focus on the time spent. That's what I'm hoping to do. The reason I was late posting is because my youngest asked me to get breakfast with him while he waited for his two new tires. I coudn't resist the invitation even though I missed two days of work last week. I revel in the one on one time.

Melissa and Josh lived with us for nearly a month. They moved to Fayetteville last weekend. It really worked well, surpringly so. I was surprised at how considerate Melissa was, sort of expecting the messy girl who once lived in my house. : ) (We are both a little messy naturally). But I also worked hard to stay away from their side of the house and to overlook any messes, and to concentrate on the time spent with Mel and Josh. It was nice. Hopefully they overlooked the sometimes insomniac who roamed the house at night, or the person who doesn't cook at night anymore, choosing to eat light, though every one else in the world doesn't follow that regime. I delighted in the cupcakes Josh baked, and the talk time with Melissa, and the bicycle rides we had as a family. Nice. Not perfect, but nice.
