Girlfriends escape weekend
I’ve been working too hard lately—deadlines, meetings, all too much.
So I’m escaping to the beach with some girlfriends this weekend. No casual acquaintances, these wonderful women formed the teaching team for a class at our church during the past school year.

Summer house
School is still in session, but summer officially begins this weekend, at least for my family.
We’ll head to my in-law’s home for the Memorial Day weekend, as we often do in summer. They live on a beautifully clean, calm lake in Wisconsin, about an hour and half from our home.
